The Challenge
The challenge lay in developing a site that would help the restaurant to expand their customer base and benefit from the transactions that the site would allow. They were also looking at an attractive site that was elegantly designed keeping in mind the ambiance and that special quality that a site devoted to food needs to have.
The Solution
The website offers an interface that showcases a spectacle of online menus, restaurant images, services and products. The customer could select items on a menu from the restaurant and order online. The salient features of the website include an animated introduction page with music, dynamic menu, e-com enabled shopping cart to order food online. Also the users can deposit an amount to salaam Bombay for their friends / relatives and the concerned friend/ relative can come and get registered to use the Gift card for ordering food online of same value. Also there is a provision for an online guest book. The efficient administrative section allows you to define menu categories and items, view Guest book, manage orders, manage Gift Cards and manage the registered users.
