There was no specialized application running in the company. The existing system in the company was only limited to a fox pro based software, some manual work and MS word, MS excel usage for information storage and retrieval. As company is expanding their horizon, they are looking for ERP software for enterprise wide access.
The Solution
The ERP solution includes the domains like Finance, Sales & Marketing, Inventory, Purchase, Production Planning and Control, Human Resources & Payroll. Finance cover daily transactions like account group creation, monitor credit days, discount & interest against bill, monitor TDS etc. It also covers Account Receivables and Payables and document entries like Cash Payment & Receipt, Bank Payment & Receipt, Journal, Expenses etc. Sales & Marketing module covers Product Information, Sales Force Management & Client Management. Inventory module covers the process right from receiving material, quality control, store management, issue & consumption at each cost center & preparation of requisition. Purchase module takes care of requisitions received, check availability and place orders, automatic updating of supplier database and receive material. Production Planning & control module involves resource, machine & material planning. Human Resources & Payroll module sets up the company salary structure, allowance, deduction, leaves & yearly calendar. It configures the employee's personal, service, allowance, deductions & leave information. Monthly transactions like attendance, leaves availed, loans, advances, overtime, incentive, bonus, income tax, PF & ESI are recorded and pay slip is generated accordingly.
